ExCeL exhibition and conference centre in London’s Docklands hosted a range of test events during the London Prepares series in preparation for the Games in 2012.
The
ExCeL test events were not open to the general public but were key for LOCOG
to test event operations.

Boxing
The London Boxing International Invitational took place from 24-27 November 2011. It featured ten male and three female weight categories.
Judo
The London Prepares International Judo Invitational took place from 3-4 December 2011. The event featured male and female athletes from around the world.
Taekwondo
Men’s and women’s competitions took place at the Taekwondo International Invitational from 3-4 December 2011.
Weightlifting
The London Prepares Weightlifting International Invitational took place at ExCeL from 10-11 December 2011.
Wrestling
The London International Invitational Wrestling event took place from 10-11 December 2011.
