31 July-13 August 2011 Weymouth and Portland

The Weymouth and Portland International Regatta 2011 allowed the London 2012 Organising Committee to test the systems and processes that will be used to deliver the best possible Games next year.
The racing began on 2 August when the Women’s Match Racing fleet started racing. Over the next four days, each fleet took to the water to start their competition race schedule, so that everyone was racing by 6 August.
We expect the
impact on local roads and parking availability to be minimal and similar to that
during peak holiday periods. Find out about transport, local waters and access to the Sailing Academy and Marina.
